HETIS NON-WOVEN PAD – ISLAND DRESSING

HETIS Non-Woven Pad is an island dressing that protects the wound bed from external agents as well as microbial invasion.

– HETIS Non-Woven – Pad is an island dressing, sterile with 2 parts: a non-woven fabric coated with acrylic adhesive and an absorbent cotton swab in the middle (with a special non-stick coating).

– HETIS Non-Woven – Pad has the following characteristics:

+ Ability to absorb wound fluid.

+ Less adhesion to the wound bed, reducing pain for the patient each time the dressing is changed.

+ Protects the wound bed from external agents and the invasion of microorganisms.

+ Does not cause skin irritation.

– The product is sterilized by gamma rays, each piece is contained in a separate sterile bag.

– The product is convenient, easy to use and manipulate.

– Clean the wound bed and surrounding areas with a specialized solution.

– Choose the dressing suitable for the position, shape and size of the wound bed, should choose the dressing at least 2 cm wider than the wound bed.

– Take out the dressing from the package, gently separate the two edges of the lining paper to the sides to reveal the dressing, place the dressing on the wound bed. Completely separate the lining paper, gently stroke the dressing from the inside to the outside so that the dressing adheres to the skin.

– Regularly monitor the condition of the dressing and the wound bed.

– The frequency of dressing changes depends on the actual wound and as prescribed by the treating doctor.

HETIS Non-Woven – Pad is indicated for use in wounds:

  •   Shallow, dry wounds, abrasions, lacerations, minor burns.
  •   Skin grafting area.
  •   Can be used as a secondary tape for other dressing.
